The GLE 300 4MATIC SUV comes with all-wheel drive, while the GLE 350 SUV comes with rear-wheel drive. The GLE 350 4MATIC SUV will offer better traction in adverse conditions such as snow or heavy rain but has slightly worse fuel economy and a higher MSRP*. If you live in an area with a mild climate, the standard GLE 350 SUV will be sufficient. If you want additional traction from all-wheel drive, opt for the GLE 350 4MATIC SUV.
The GLE 350 4MATIC SUV has a 4-cylinder engine, while the GLE 450 4MATIC SUV has a more powerful inline 6-cylinder engine. If you want maximum efficiency and primarily drive around town, the GLE 350 4MATIC is sufficient. If you live in an area with hills or like additional power for passing on the highway, the more powerful engine on the GLE 450 4MATIC SUV will be more beneficial.
The GLE 580 4MATIC SUV has a V8 engine and more luxury and performance-focused standard features than the GLE 450 4MATIC SUV. If you want a fully loaded GLE SUV but don't need the high-performance characteristics of the AMG trims, then opt for the GLE 580 4MATIC SUV.
The AMG GLE 53 SUV is the standard performance variant of the GLE, while the AMG GLE 63 S SUV is a fully-loaded version with more power and additional luxury features. If you want maximum performance and the most luxurious GLE experience, opt for the AMG GLE 63 S SUV. Otherwise, the AMG GLE 53 SUV offers ample performance and a much lower starting MSRP*.
