What's the difference between the 2023 GLE 350 and GLE 450?
The engine is the primary difference between the 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 and GLE 450. The GLE 350 comes with a 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine producing 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, while the GLE 450 comes with a 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with mild hybrid drive producing 362 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the mild hybrid powertrain in the GLE 450, it gets slightly better city MPG compared to the GLE 350 4MATIC (20 MPG vs. 19 MPG**) but a little worse highway MPG compared to the standard rear-wheel drive GLE 350 (26 MPG vs. 27 MPG**).
Besides the engine, the GLE 350 is available with either rear-wheel drive or 4MATIC all-wheel drive, but the GLE 450 is only available with 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
